How to Order
On-line Ordering:
  • Links above (Lighting, Garden and Furniture etc.) lead to product category pages.
  • Once there each item is shown with a picture, description, price and applicable options.
  1. For each item you wish to purchase choose available options, fill in the quantity and click on the 'Buy' button.
  2. You will then see the item added to your cart. To continue shopping select the 'Continue Shopping' button.
  3. To change orders simply view your cart ('View Cart' link above), modify the quantity of an item then click the 'Recalculate' button. To delete items from your basket change their quantity to 0 and then 'Recalculate' your basket contents.
  4. To continue on to a Secure Server and checkout click the 'Go to payments' button (view your cart to see this button). It is here that you enter in your credit card details in a safe, secure environment. You must also add any applicable shipping and tax settings (you will be notified of these and cannot proceed with out filling them in)
  5. When the process is complete you will be sent an email verifying your order and its particulars.

    A representative from Walsh Mountain will follow the email with a phone call to verify credit card details, shipping instructions and any other details to complete your order.

Walshmountain.com is designed for use with the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. If you currently use older versions of these browsers (including Internet Explorer 7 or earlier, Firefox 3 or earlier and AOL 3.0 or earlier), you may experience technical difficulties with on-line ordering.

Please Note:
  • Cookies must be enabled in your browser's preferences.
  • Macintosh users running AOL 3.0 will not be able to place orders with walshmountain.com, as this browser does not support SSL technology.
  • WebTV is not supported.

To purchase products on-line, you must use a browser that is SSL-compliant and has a "secure mode." Downloading the latest versions of Internet Explorer or Firefox will also ensure that you are protected by the browser's latest security patches.

Delivery Costs

Delivery
Most purchases are shipped from our head office in Port Hope by Canpar, to arrive within 5 business days of the receipt of the order. In the event of a delay we will notify you by phone.

You may also arrange to pick up your order direct from our Port Hope Store and we will deduct the shipping charges from your bill - just call (905).885.9983 to arrange for pickup after placing your order on-line.

Surcharges

Because furniture and other large items are bulky and heavy, our cost to ship them is higher than that for other items. Therefore, these large items have a delivery surcharge; this charge is listed along with the item price and is in addition to regular delivery charges, as listed on the order form.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return the item within 30 days and we will gladly refund you the price of the item purchased and applicable tax amounts (on-line/ email orders only). The return policy for purchases made in any of our store locations is either exchange or store credit ONLY. Unfortunately we cannot reimburse shipping and/or brokerage fees for the original delivery or return.

 

Limited Warranty

All of our products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The liability is expressly limited to the repair or replacement by Walsh Mountain Ironworks Inc. where in our opinion, damage is caused by defect and not misuse or incorrect installation.
