Are your products suitable for outdoor use?

YES. Both of our finishes are rust resistant. Most of our products are offered in a painted finish (charcoal) and a powder coated finish (actual colour of the iron). Both of these finishes are durable and will resist rusting. All wrought iron eventually requires paint touch ups to keep it rust free.

Does Greg do custom orders or accept commission work?

YES and NO. Greg will customize SIZES of larger pieces like tables and fencing, but not window boxes and arbors. He will NOT do custom work based on a design that is not his own.

Do you sell wholesale?

NO. Greg's designs are only sold through our Walsh Mountain Ironworks Inc. store in Port Hope, Ontario, though inferior knock-offs do exist.

Will Greg train an apprentice?

NO. Greg strictly designs alone - he is an artist and what can we say "He's gotta be free!"

Is Walsh Mountain Ironworks Inc. privately owned?

YES. Walsh Mountain Ironworks Inc. is owned by Anne Cadoret and Greg Walsh.

Are you a Canadian company?

YES, Walsh Mountain Ironworks Inc. originated in Canada (where all of our product is still hand-made).

Does Walsh Mountain accept international orders?

YES, we will accept international orders (outside of Canada and the U.S.) IF the customer arranges and pays for the shipping.

We live nearby or are planning to visit Port Hope. Can we save the shipping charges by picking up our order in person?

YES, just call (905).885.9983 to arrange for pickup after placing your order on-line, and the shipping charges will be deducted from your total.

Are your prices negotiable?

NO. Our products come directly from us to you - therefore there is no middleman. We try to maintain a high quality product for the lowest price possible.
